I guess ur reading is much more in English than in Arabic..try to read more Arabic..read heavy stuff like almotanabi and Nizar Qabbani poets..you will gain a lot
I would also recommend 3′azi algusaibi books ..he is my favourite..he writes in a very simple language yet you feel its complicated.

i just don’t know what to read or if it’s worth it.. i’ve read some of Nizar’s poems and i really love his writing and i intend to read more..

sheggat al7orreya is a good book..its not poems though..its a novel. there is another novel, al3a9foreyya..but you wont find it here in saudi..
