I know very well that I’m not smart
I’m an uneducated ignorant boy
Wait, that’s just the start When it comes to matters of the heart
I admit that I’m stupid and blind
I fail to see what’s right in front of me
I fail to read between the lines When it comes to matters of the heart
I’m not fluent or eloquent in my speech
I say the wrong things at the wrong times
Then I bite my tongue to bleed When it comes to matters of the heart
I’m just another lonely fool
So it’s okay if you choose to refuse
This unconditional love that I have for you
Maybe one day by the gleam of light
off of the bars that hold this prison tight
She’ll realize what kind of beast she bequeathed
to the jaws of what gave her the diamond wreath
till the gnaws of the creature defeat the peace
and break free once more to wear the leash
I’ll be speaking to you all from deep within
maybe the space cowboy would finally win
so deep, so painful
F, if you are the “space cowboy” as I think… I have missed reading your writings man!
Susu, this innocence or ignorance however is bound to attract someone, hopefully
^___^
the beauty in this poem is that it’s about everyone because when people fall in love they become ignorant and they can never read between the line. so sweet…
