We start our finals on Monday 15th of June. My exams schedule is the following: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology then Surgery in that order. I finish on th 7th of July.
Of course I have a lot to say about the unfairness of our grading system. 6th year accounts for 60% of our GPA which is rather ridiculous if you ask me because it throws away all the work you have done in the previous 5 years. If, God forbid, I developed a fever during my finals, which account for 66% of 6th year grade, then I will basically damage my GPA in an unimaginable way. 3 weeks can determine my future career course. Talk about adding stress to an already stressful situation!
I also have a couple of comments regarding how it all feels now that it is almost over. 6 years is a long journey by anyone’s standards and I just hope it ends well.
A lengthy post awaits you when I’m done with the exams inshallah.
